Episode 34. Loretta in California

In this episode, I will be talking with Loretta in California. Loretta lost both of her parents to COVID within a month of each other. Her mother, Maria Cuevas, died on December 10, 2020 and her father, Cipriano Pedroza, passed away on January 8, 2021. Her parents had been divorced for many years, and so when Loretta's mom passed away, she had no reason to believe her dad would die so soon after. Loretta describes her dad as her favorite person and you can hear that in each word of this episode.

There are some audio challenges in this show that I didn't notice at the time of recording and have done my best to work through.

For context on this interview and the ever-changing pandemic, we recorded this episode on June 23, 2022.
