Rosie lost her mom in May of 2020 and afterward she sought out a way to heal. She reached out to a young woman who was painting yellow hearts with images of those lost to COVID and asked for a picture of her mom. That became the Yellow Heart Memorial, which has grown to local memorials all over the United States.
